We first met as Grad School classmates at California Baptist University, in Riverside, CA during September of 2009.  As fellow grad students studying for our respective Master's degrees, we made each other laugh as we silently admired each other from afar.  On that divine night of May 6, 2011, God created circumstances that eventually resulted in Cassandra and I sitting next to each other during our Commencement Ceremony.  And once we realized that we were more content to talk to each other than to pay attention to our surroundings, we gradually developed a mutual respect and admiration for each other.  So after striking up a rather mutually stimulating conversation that lasted throughout the entire pomp and circumstances, we subsequently decided to spend more time together over the summer.  And the rest, as they say, is history!

  During our courtship, we prayerfully evaluated our relationship by seeking God's will collectively and individually.  And once the Holy Spirit confirmed in our hearts, through a series of circumstances, and through our trusted friends and significant others that we belonged together, we moved forward with excitement and enthusiasm to explore what God had in store for us.  

   As we moved forward in our commitment to each other, it didn't take too long for us to realied that God's plan for us as a couple ultimately included marrying each other in His timing.  So over time, we subsequently arranged for 6 months of premarital counseling with a trusted pastor at a local Christian church in the Temecula, CA area near Cassandra's house, which she had attended for years before meeting Christopher. And Christopher had also regularly attended a church near his hometown of Riverside.  Accordingly, the insightful wisdom, patience, prayers, life-experience and guidance of our beloved pastor all proved tremendously invaluable, in re-affirming the Biblical truths of God's Word - which we had each previously studied while single. However, revisiting those truths of God's Scritpures as a couple, while under the tutelage of our pastor in a formal counseling setting provided us with many teachable moments & opportunities to practive God's love before we said, "I Do!"  Which we understand will provide us with an essential foundation for maintaining our marriage relationship.  

After completion of our premarital pastoral counseling, Christopher proposed quietly and privately at home on June 29, 2013.

  Beautiful springtime is our theme!  New, fresh life all around us inspires our cremony decoration.  Everything from baby birds, to newly emerging butterflies, and freshly budding flowers, are all the backdrop and theme of our wedding decor!

  Our reception will take place at the same location of the ceremony for everyone's convenience.  It will take place outdoors during the late morning and early afternoon.  We thank you all for your love, your support, and your willingness to joyfully celebrate with us, which we look forward to soon!
